The Head of Conference

Growing up in a region where political tensions are ever-present, I was steeped in the fire of political awareness. A flame that didn’t just light my path, but shaped my purpose. This made me believe in the importance of using my voice to advocate for others. And my mission was clear; to turn vision into voice, and voice into change.

Rather than watching conflicts from afar, I found a way to turn thought and curiosity into action. I became interested in understanding how the world works and that opened my eyes to the fact that this process isn't easy. It taught me that the first and most important step of it all is knowing the power and value of words. This is where I found Model United Nations, it proved that the brilliant mind of the youth does in fact rule. I was extremely thrilled to see the procedure of two sides looking at the same political issue yet speaking about it from two different angles. Following the discussions where they work on bringing both views together never failed to fascinate me.

As young leaders, WE are the foundation of the future, WE are the catalyst for change and WE have the power to create a better tomorrow. Young brilliant minds have the power to shape a world that is not daunting but exciting, full of opportunities rather than aggression. That is why we, the AsriyyaMUN’27 team, have worked wholeheartedly to infuse our core values into this conference.
